What the job involves:
- Manage new product development projects from concept to commercial release
- Concept/ product design, based on customer, market, and regulatory requirements
- ‘© Lead benchmarking and competitive product analysis
- — Support on tooling, mold, equipment, and fixture design for new products
- Define tire construction, dimensions, profiles, material specifications, and performance requirements
- Develop tire constructions, compounds, and component specifications to achieve target performance requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Polymer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or
- equivalent in related field
- Professional qualifications in manufacturing or quality systems will be an added advantage
- 6-8years of experience in tire manufacturing, product development, process engineering, or industrialization
- Experience in solid tire design, development and industrialization is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala Good knowledge of solid tire design and manufacturing
- processes
- Understanding of rubber technology, compounds, reinforcement materials, and curing processes
