Production Manager

Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC has an opening for a Production Manager. The job is based in Dankotuwa. The post is offered on a full-time basis.

What the job involves:
- Production Manager will oversee the critical initial stage of production where raw clay is shaped into tableware (such as
- plates, bowls, cups, and mugs) before firing. He / She will ensure that the process meets strict production schedules,
- quality standards, and cost targets
- Supervising the techniques specific to the process
- Ensuring quality control and defect reduction by constant monitoring and trouble shooting
- Overseeing the conditioning, storage, and replacement of moulds to maintain product dimensions and surface quality

- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a large-scale manufacturing entity
- Understanding of ceramic science and /or prior experience in porcelain production will be an advantage
- Candidates residing in Gampaha, Negombo, Madampe, Kuliyapitiya or Dankotuwa will be preferred,
