Sri Lanka Air Force Recruitment 2026 – Airmen / Airwomen (Walk-in Interviews, Ekala)

ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගුවන් හමුදාව – සුරකිමු ලකඹර 2026. බඳවාගැනීමේ සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 යන දිනයන්හි ඒකල ගුවන් හමුදා වෘත්තීය පුහුණු පාසලේදී පැවැත්වේ.

The Sri Lanka Air Force is recruiting airmen and airwomen for regular (නිත්‍ය) and volunteer (ස්වේච්ඡා) service. Walk-in recruitment interviews will be held on 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 October 2026 at the SLAF Vocational Training School, Ekala.

Vacancies are available in more than 40 trades, including:
- Aircraft mechanic / engine / electrical and instrument / armament trades
- Weapons, motor transport mechanic, ground support equipment and electrical trades
- Air traffic assistant, radar operator, communication and computer mechanic trades
- Medical assistant, catering assistant, administrative assistant, firefighter, police (security) trades
- Driver, cook, musician, carpenter / mason, clerk and other trades

මූලික සුදුසුකම් / Basic qualifications:
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- G.C.E. O/L: passed six subjects in not more than two sittings, including a pass in Sinhala / Tamil language (Pearson Edexcel IGCSE / Cambridge O/L candidates must obtain a Sinhala or Tamil pass within 5 years of enlistment)
- Age – Regular: male 18–23, female 18–22 · Volunteer: male 18–28, female 18–26
- Height – male at least 5' 3" (159 cm), female at least 5' 1" (154 cm)
- Colour vision: CP 2
- Civil status – Regular: unmarried · Volunteer: married or unmarried
