Accountant | Assistant Accountant

Saegis Campus is looking for an Accountant | Assistant Accountant to join its team in Nugegoda. The post is offered on a full-time basis.

What the job involves:
- ~ Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate annual
- financial audits and internal audits
- Prepare student payment plans and coordinate with relevant departments to
- ensure implementation following the necessary approvals
- Review and approve daily income reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with banks and facilitate Telegraphic Transfers (TTs) and related banking transactions

- ~ A degree from a recognized university in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Membership of AAT Sri Lanka or completion of the Intermediate Level of CA Sri Lanka
- ~ Minimum of three (03) years of experience in auditing
- ~ Minimum of one (01) year of experience in a similar position
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in QuickBooks (QB)
- ~ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments
