Assistant Accountant

Telesonic Mobility (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join its team in Colombo 3. Job type: full-time.

What the job involves:
- Handling Taxation & Compliance and ensuring proper documentation and
- compliance with company policies
- « Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively
- « Management Accounts & Financial reporting & ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Handling annual Audit
- « Assist the Accountant in preparing financial reports and analysis

- Adegree in Finance or Associate member of CA/CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA
- « Minimum 4 yrs post qualifying experience in related business
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, Decision making and communication skills
- « Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management
- « Knowledge of Microsoft office packages and other Accounting Packages
- « Experience in stock management, import costing and bank negotiations
- « Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with integrity
- « Experience in the automobile industry would be an added advantage
