Assistant Financial Controller

Amanwella Resort - Tangalle has an opening for an Assistant Financial Controller. The job is based in Tangalle. Job type: full-time.

What the job involves:
- Leading the finance team within the scope of the company’s financial policies and controls in meeting the
- group’s strategies and objectives
- Preparation and submission of financial and management reports in accordance with prescribed timelines
- Effectively manage and communicate cash flow related issues. This will include the accurate and timely
- preparation of cash flow statements, management of receivables, payables, cash balances, control
- mechanisms and timely deposits

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a hotel finance department at senior management level
- A degree holder or professional qualification from recognized accounting body (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA,
- CPA, AAT, IAB, IFA etc.)
- Knowledge of accounting software such as SUN, PROLIFIC, BIRCHSTREET, OPERA & MICROS etc
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Previous audit experience is an added advantage
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
