Cook

A vacancy for the post of Cook is open at Remarko (Makola). This is a full-time position.

What the job involves:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to our recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- + Follow portion control and minimize food waste
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and report shortages
- Properly store food and manage stock rotation (FIFO)

- Proven experience as a Cook or Line Cook (minimum 1-2 years)
- + Knowledge of basic cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices
- + Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Culinary diploma or certification is an advantage
- Good teamwork, punctuality and a positive attitude
