- Review merchant onboarding documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance with
- approved procedures
- Verify that required approvals and supporting documents are obtained before merchant activation
- Conduct periodic reviews of merchant records and related documentation
- Perform compliance checks and operational audits in line with approved audit plans
- Identify gaps in processes, documentation, approvals and internal controls
