What the job involves

• Manage assigned tea purchasing activities at the Colombo Tea Auction, including tasting, grading, valuation, and procurement
• Monitor auction, market, and competitor trends and provide insights to support purchasing, pricing, and market decisions
• Manage assigned international customer accounts and build strong, long-term commercial relationships
• Identify and develop new customers, markets, and product opportunities to support profitable business growth
• Prepare customer and market development plans and support sales forecasting, pricing, and negotiations
• Manage blend allocation, stock utilisation, and cost optimisation while maintaining required quality standards
• Work closely with production, quality, planning, shipping, and other cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively
