Softvilmedia is hiring: QA Engineer.
We’re Hiring: QA Engineer
Employment Type: 6 Month Contract-based
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, UI designs, and API specifications to understand testing requirements.
Perform functional testing for web, mobile, and middleware applications.
Develop, execute, and maintain frontend and API test automation.
Test features developed through AI-assisted and spec-driven development.
Leverage AI throughout the testing lifecycle for test case creation, execution, failure analysis, defect reporting, automation, and quality insights.
Test AI-driven product features, including non-deterministic behavior.
Contribute to improving overall product quality and delivery.
Stay updated with emerging testing tools, technologies, and practices. QA Engineer
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent professional qualification.
2+ years of software testing experience, including hands-on test automation.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Strong experience in functional testing of web and mobile applications.
Backend testing experience with APIs, web services, databases, and server logs.
Basic knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6.
Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or REST Assured.
Programming experience with Java and/or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills. QA Engineer JD
Nice to Have
Experience with AI agents, skills, and MCP-based tooling.
Mobile test automation experience with Appium or Flutter integration tests.
Deeper experience in AI-assisted testing. QA Engineer JD
