Maintenance Engineer

Colombo Swimming Club has an opening for a Maintenance Engineer. The job is based in Colombo 3. Job type: full-time.

What the job involves:
- Responsible for all Engineering and Maintenance Operations of the Club
- Responsible for developing and presenting the Annual Projects and Maintenance budget
- Lead and direct the Engineering and Maintenance team on day-to-day operations and projects
- Ensure timely, effective, and cost-efficient delivery of Engineering/Maintenance tasks and projects
- Monitor and control the cost of the maintenance activities
- Develop a preventive maintenance plan and ensure equipment and service down times are kept to a minimum

- Should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the field of Engineering with focus on Kitchen
- Equipment and Swimming Pools, Project Management and General Maintenance
- Should possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution/university in the field of Engineering
- Qualifications related to project management would be a definite advantage
- A sound understanding of Engineering principles
- High level of computer literacy Microsoft Excel analysis tools and other Office packages
- Strong interpersonal skills and Communication skills in English both verbal and written
