What the job involves

• Build, update, or troubleshoot client websites in WordPress and HubSpot CMS
• Build and connect forms, lead routing, and simple automations between a site and the client’s marketing tools
• Set up and check tracking, like GA4, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot tracking in Tandem with the SEO Manager
• Keep sites fast, accessible, and friendly to SEO (page speed, Core Web Vitals, clean markup, image optimizations, cache lifetime improvements, and so on)
• Write clear and timely notes on what you are actively working on, and any updates pushed live so our team and the client can follow along

Working remotely from Sri Lanka

• You need a laptop, a stable internet connection and good written English.

• Foreign income received through banks in Sri Lanka may have tax rules – keep your payment records.

• You’re a hands-on developer who can build from scratch, troubleshoot existing sites, and make improvements without disrupting what’s already working
• Required skills
• HubSpot CMS development: Strong experience with HubL templates, modules, and themes, including building and troubleshooting pages, forms, and email templates
• Front-end development: Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with the ability to navigate existing code and understand how changes affect the live site
• Technical audits and fixes: Experience using Screaming Frog to audit WordPress and HubSpot sites, interpret findings, and resolve technical issues
• Async communication: Clear, timely written communication, especially through Slack
• Independent work: Strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines, flag blockers early, and keep projects moving without close supervision
• Nice-to-have skills
